What is India's problem, unemployment or unemployable youth?
What is the reason for the slowing of the economy of India?
For Businessman Economy is Growth, For politicians Economy is "More Five Year's but Surely for me, Economy is the Education System of India - The Small minds who see India a brighter India in coming years but are providing them that facilities?
When we are asked about Indian Economy - Surely there are many things that come in our mind like the current government, initiative and Job creation and one of the important words that do come in everyday life is "Skill development "
Who are responsible?
I am sure this is a very rhetoric question that who is responsible for the downfall of Indian Economy because definitely there wouldn't be only one factor and surely I would never keep the government in my bucket list.
The factors who is really responsible for downfall are :
No change in the education sector.
I went to my hometown and then went to my schools and interacted with my teachers, students, and staffs and came to know that the structure of teaching is still the same - but yes some initiative has been taken in the automation process but the use of paper and other's remains the same. Mostly the developed countries have different initiative in the schools which provide them exposures to look into what is happening in different schools and where students are taught to be job creator but not the job seeker and even if we look at the developed countries their pattern of education are almost same but when it comes to India there are different boards, syllabus and another various factor that determines the system of education.
Below are few data which would point out why Indian Economy does depend on the education system.

Facts on Education
Less than half of India’s children between the age 6 and 14 go to school.
A little over one-third of all children who enroll in grade one reach grade eight.
At least 35 million children aged 6 – 14 years do not attend school.
53% of girls in the age group of 5 to 9 years are illiterate.
In India, only 53% of habitation has a primary school.
In India, only 20% of habitation has a secondary school.
On an average, an upper primary school is 3 km away in 22% of areas under habitations.
In nearly 60% of schools, there are less than two teachers to teach Classes I to V.
On an average, there are less than three teachers per primary school. They have to manage classes from I to V every day.
The high cost of private education and need to work to support their families and little interest in studies are the reasons given by 3 in every four drop-outs as the reason they leave.
Dropout rates increase alarmingly in class III to V, its 50% for boys, 58% for girls.
1 in 40, a primary school in India is conducted in open spaces or tents.
In Andhra Pradesh (South India), 52 upper primary schools were operating without a building in 2002, while in 1993, there were none.
In Maharashtra (West India), there were 10 schools operating without a building in 1993, this has climbed to 33 in 2002.
More than 50 per cent of girls fail to enroll in school; those that do are likely to drop out by the age of 12.
50% of Indian children aged 6-18 do not go to school
Schools only responsible?
It's all about joining the dot's that once your base wouldn't be strong - the foundation will affect a lot and if look at most attractive field - engineering and it's data which is more pathetic and the trend's keep on continuing
20-33% out of the 1.5 million engineers in India are passing out every year run the risk of not getting a job at all
The factor's responsible for not getting placed are :
The ability to apply the concepts learned to constantly develop innovative things and find solutions to complex problems are main factors working behind the employability of an engineer."
"The state of the economy also plays a major role in employment generation. Industry insiders say that in a strained economic condition, companies do not want to spend much on training and would prefer candidates with some skill sets who can be made billable soon."
Location factor: According to the Aspiring Minds report, in Tier-1 cities such as Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, 18.26 percent of software engineers are job ready, while in Tier-2 cities such as Pune, Nagpur, and Surat, 14.17 percent are employable.
This shows that the candidates from lower tier cities are not getting the same opportunities as those hailing from Tier-1 cities, even if they are equally qualified and skilled. The chances of finding a job for such a person is 24 per cent lower and the earning per-year salary would also be Rs 66,000 lesser.
"Basically the Tier 3 cities are the one with the lowest employability rate. This is because of the insufficient infrastructure for developing skilled specific knowledge
"Problems with the English language along with issues in computer programming make these students ineligible for employment. The difference in English and cognitive skill modules may only be a function of the input quality of the students. There is a consistent trend that the maximum gap is in computer programming, followed by cognitive skills and English and least in other domain skills."
THE NUMBERS ARE ALARMING. MOST OF THE ENGINEERING GRADUATES WHO FAIL TO GRAB AN EMPLOYMENT IN THEIR RESPECTIVE INDUSTRY, END UP JOINING CALL CENTERS OR BPO UNITS IN MNCS THAT COULD BE DISASTROUS FOR THEM IN THE FUTURE. HOWEVER, THE PROMISING AND FLOURISHING GROWTH OF THE STARTUP ECOSYSTEM IN INDIA IS EMERGING AS A RESCUER FOR THOSE WHO ARE HARD WORKING, BUT STILL, FAIL TO GET THROUGH THE STRINGENT INTERVIEW PROCESS IN MNC
Surely new initiative by the government like Make In India, Made In India would impact a lot as there would be more job creation but as always say 1% is the idea and 99% is the execution and the execution begins from the primary level ( Schools - Colleges ) where students are taught from the start to create job and not search job because once they start looking for the job it's always them and once they create job "it's for all".
